Review by hotel critic
I recently revisited Hotel Apollo for a family getaway, and I must say, its balance of luxury and value continues to impress. The rooms are consistently clean, with a lovely view of the sea that makes morning coffee a pleasure. The staff, especially at the front desk, are welcoming and helpful—Karmen and Gigi were standout examples. The pool area, perfect for families, is clean and well-maintained, providing a great place to relax after a day of exploration. The dining experience is noteworthy; the variety and quality of food were surprisingly good, even rivaling some higher-rated hotels I’ve visited. While not perfect—there’s room for improvement in breakfast variety—the overall experience justifies the cost, ensuring you leave feeling both relaxed and satisfied. I’ll certainly return for another adventure with my girls next year!
